
Have you recently upgraded to fibre broadband or changed your WiFi router? If so, your solar PV monitoring app might need a quick reconfiguration to keep everything connected.
Your solar panels will still be generating power as normal, but without updating the app, you may not be able to see the live data or track the performance on your phone. This happens because your monitoring device is linked to your home WiFi and when it changes, the connection can drop.
The fix is usually simple:
· Reconnect your monitoring device to your new WiFi network
· Reconfigure your solar PV app on your phone so it can “talk” to the system again
· Check that your performance data is updating correctly.
