Bringing solar to the hospitality sector: Hotel de Havelet dines out on PV
Hotel De Havelet, one of Guernsey’s most iconic hotels, engaged Little Green to start its transition towards a more sustainable operation. Our client was clear about how important long-term sustainability is to them and their guests, so they were keen to explore renewable energy solutions. After a consultation to clearly identify their needs, we supplied and installed 60 Maxeon SunPower solar panels, some of the most well-regarded panels on the market.
The panels were installed across the hotel’s terraced roofs, utilising a 24.9 kWp Maxeon PV system. This system allows the hotel to generate and use 21,145 kWh of green power per year, reducing its CO2 emissions by 10,873 kg annually. The installation process was smooth, and we worked closely with the hotel team to ensure everything was set up efficiently and effectively.
